6 Winter Actions for Photoshop. Free download

Winter Actions

This set of 6 Winter Actions for Photoshop will transform already cold images to different hues and depths of coldness. Where possible, layers are left intact so they are editable to adjust to your image needs and your own requirements. I enjoyed creating these actions, and I like the effects they create. I hope you do too. As always, these actions are free, and the download button is after the showcase.

Winter Action 1

This action applies adjustments: Levels, Hue/Saturation, Photo Filter to a duplicated background layer. The layer is duplicated and Sketch filter is applied. This layer has a Soft Light Blend Mode with 12% opacity. The action now adds the editable Adjustment layers, those layers are:

Photo Filter
Gradient Map
Curves

Winter Action 2

The action applies Brightness/Contrast and Photo Filter adjustments to a copy of the background layer. The adjustment layers are then added, and as usual, the background image remains unchanged. The adjustment layers are:

Gradient Map
Curves
Gradient Map 2
Color Fill
Photo Filter
Gradient Map 3
Curves 2

Winter Action 3

This action applies Brightness/Contrast and Levels adjustments to a copy of the original layer. Adjustment layers are then applied, and they remain adjustable for your requirements. The original background is unchanged and the adjustment layers are:

Photo Filter
Gradient Map
Curves
Color Balance
Color Fill

Winter Action 4

To arrive at this result, Levels, Photo Filter and Brightness/Contrast adjustments are applied to a duplicated background layer. 6 Adjustment layers are then applied and left intact. The background image remains unchanged. The Adjustment layers are:

Gradient Map
Curves
Photo Filter
Gradient Map 2
Brightness/Contrast
Hue/Saturation

Winter Action 5

This action applies more adjustments on the duplicated background image: Bightness/Contrast, Curves, Vibrance and Photo Filter. There are only 4 Adjustment layers added and they are:

Curves
Hue/Saturation
Gradient Map
Color Fill

Winter Action 6

Finally, this effect is created by applying Selective Color and Photo Filter adjustments on the duplicated background layer, then including the following Adjustment layers that remain intact:
