Poster Templates 5

Poster Templates 5 is a couple of .psd templates. Each one is 1296px x 1728px, 72ppi. The first is in pastel colours and really lends itself to anything concerning children. The second has space for a large image, so would be great for the catering or holiday trades. Free download, and the download button is after the showcase.

Poster 1

This fun poster is ideal for playgroups, schools or anything children-related. It will work well with any fun-related activity too… for the big kids!

The following image shows the template as you receive it.

The layers in the .psd file are:

  • Border
  • Blue Text Boxes Group:
    • Right Box
    • Left Box
  • Circle
  • Background Design
  • Background
Poster Template 1 Blank

In the following image, I have populated it with information for a playgroup.

First, I duplicated the background layer and added a Gradient Overlay with the following settings:

  • Gradient: 17-Candle Light from my Winter Gradients set
  • Blend Mode: Normal
  • Opacity: 20%
  • Style: Reflected
  • Angle: 0°
  • Scale: 100%
  • Method: Perceptual

I reduced the opacity of the ‘Background Design’ layer to 85%.

I created an outline for the circle by using the Ellipse Tool, Select ‘Shape’ from the dropdown box, no fill, stroke at 5px, any colour as a gradient will be applied. Drag the circle out, holding down the Shift key to keep the circle proportionate, to a little bigger than the white circle. CTRL + Click on the thumbnail of the ‘Circle’ layer to select the pixels, then select the Move Tool and click on both horizontal and vertical centers.

Apply a Gradient Overlay with the following settings:

  • Gradient: Red #F40B0B to White
  • Blend Mode: Normal
  • Opacity: 100%
  • Style: Reflected – Reverse
  • Angle: 90°
  • Scale: 100%
  • Method: Perceptual

I then applied a Gradient Overlay to the ‘Circle’ layer, using the following settings:

  • Gradient: Metal Gradient 12 from my Metal Gradients set
  • Blend Mode: Normal
  • Opacity: 100%
  • Style: Linear – Reverse
  • Angle: 90°
  • Scale: 100%
  • Method: Perceptual

The image of the children sliding the rainbow is from CleanPNG

‘Rainbow Tots’ text in the top left corner is in Chibi Dinosaur font, available free from whatfontis.com and the same text is used for ‘Where tots have fun’ in the circle. I used the rainbow gradient from the PS Color Harmonies 1 set at full opacity and 0° angle. I changed the scale slightly for each to suit the letters and size of font.

The other text used on the poster is Attentica 4F Ultralight, available free from myfonts.com

This is a bit more serious than the first template. It lends itself to any service-related business, such as a restaurant, hotel or spa centre. The layers in the .psd file are:

      • Left Hexagon
      • Clip image to this layer

      • Centre Hexagon
      • Clip image to this layer

      • Clip image to this layer

Poster Template 2 Blank

In the following example, I am promoting a restaurant.

I added the restaurant name in Copperplate Gothic Bold font, available free from fontsgeek.com

The pizza oven image was from CleanPNG

The main background image is from Michelle Raponi on Pixabay

The images in the hexagons are all from Pixabay:

I added a white rectangle above the hexagons and reduced the opacity to 50%.

The remaining text is in Congenial, which actually comes with Photoshop. Activation and information can be found at Adobe Fonts
