Bright Gradients for Photoshop

These Bright Gradients for Photoshop are based on bright, vibrant colours. I have, once again, given them random names. The examples below show the effect of some of them on photos, but always remember, if they aren’t quite working for you, try moving the gradient sliders or even changing the colours a little until you get what you want or what suits your image. Free download, the download button is after the showcase.

Beach Storm Gradient

In the example below, this gradient has really brought out the blues and oranges, as you would expect. I achieved this effect using the following settings:

Gradient Overlay:

  • Blend Mode: Multiply
  • Opacity: 40%
  • Style: Reflected – Reverse
  • Angle: 90°
  • Scale: 120%

  • Opacity: 36%
  • Style: Linear
  • Angle: 90°

High Jinks Gradient

I think High Jinks is a great name for this gradient as in this example, it hasn’t really changed the colours, just really brightened them and made them much more fun! The settings I used here are:

Gradient Overlay:

  • Blend Mode: Vivid Light
  • Opacity: 50%
  • Style: Reflected
  • Angle: 0°

Heavenly Gradient

Heavenly gradient has really cleaned and brightened this quite dirty image. Not that I have anything against dirty colours… but brights do seem to be easier on the eye! This effect was achieved using the following settings:

Gradient Overlay:

  • Blend Mode: Overlay
  • Opacity: 50%
  • Style: Linear
  • Angle: 90°
