Quick Glass Text Effect Tutorials
Glass text effects have always been popular, and probably always will be. The glass effect is very versatile, being suitable for many projects. There are some examples of uses for these effects after the tutorials. I hope you enjoy them.

Glass Effect 1
Step 1
Create a new document basically whatever size you want, I used 1632px x 1080px – because it reduces down to a good size for this website.
Fill the background with the colour of your choice. I have used #9dcbf7
Type your text using Cooper Black typeface at a reasonable size, but we are going to enlarge it, so size is not important here. Colour also isn’t important.
Step 2
Using the Transform Tool – Ctrl+T – enlarge the text to the size you require.
Now hold down the Shift key, click on the centre bottom point, and drag down a little to heighten the text
Step 3
Reduce the Layer Fill to 0% and duplicate the layer. Rename the layers ‘top’ and ‘bottom’.
Now we will stylize the text using Blending Options.
Step 4
With ‘bottom’ layer active, click on the fx at the bottom of the layers pallette and click on Bevel & Emboss. Apply the following settings:
Add Contour settings:
Now add an Inner Shadow:
Finally, add a Drop Shadow:
This is how your text should be looking (at full size) so far:
Step 5
Now make the ‘top’ layer active and apply the following Bevel & Emboss, Contour and Inner Shadow settings:
This is how the final effect should look:
