Comic Styles for Photoshop – Free Download

Here is a selection of 9 comic styles for Photoshop, supplied in an .asl file.

Comic Styles

Some of these styles include gradient and/or pattern overlays that may need to be moved, depending on the size of your text. Simply bring up the blending options, and with the overlay active, when you hover over the image you will see the move icon appear, and you can move it around as you wish.

In the following examples, I outline how to achieve the shown effect.

Comic Style 1

For this example I used Brady Bunch Remastered font, size 200pt. The text needs to be white to give this effect. The gradient overlay may need to be moved.

Comic Style 2

I used Bangers font, size 200pt for this example. It makes no difference what colour the text is for this style.

Comic Style 3

Brady Bunch Remastered was the font used again here. The text needs to be white, and both pattern and gradient may have to be moved.

Comic Style 4

I used Cherry Cream Soda font, size 120pt. The text can be any colour.

Comic Style 5

Cheri font at size 200pt was my choice here. Any colour text is fine with this style.

Comic Style 6

Chewy font at size 200pt was used here. The text needs to be white, and the pattern will need to be moved.

Comic Style 7

I used DK Jambo font at size 180pt for this example. The text needs to be white, and both the gradient and pattern overlays may need moving.

Comic Style 8

Fontdiner Swanky at size 140pt was the font of choice for this example. The text needs to be white, and the gradient overlay may need to be moved.

Comic Style 9

Here I used Happy Serif font at size 180pt. The text needs to be white and the gradient overlay may need to be moved.
