Autumn Gradients for Photoshop – Free Download
I created this set of autumn gradients some years ago, and they have always been very popular, so I thought I would offer them here.
Autumn Gradients
I have shown below some examples of the gradients in use, four examples of them used on images, and a couple of examples of them being used as backgrounds and text effects.
Examples
The following image shows gradient #1. It is a simple gradient overlay using the following settings:
- Blend Mode: Overlay
- Opacity: 77%
- Style: Linear, Reversed
- Angle 90º
- Scale 100%

This image uses gradient #12. It is a Gradient Fill adjustment layer, using the following settings:
- Style: Linear
- Angle: 90º
- Scale: 100%
- Layer Blend Mode: Soft Light
- Layer Opacity: 60%

These tree trunks look quite red in the original. Gradient 13 took most of that red out. Here are the settings used:
- Blend Mode: Overlay
- Opacity: 27%
- Style: Linear
- Angle: 90º
- Scale: 150%

Leaves are usually brown by the time they fall, but red ones look much prettier! I used gradient 15 on these leaves:
- Blend Mode: Overlay
- Opacity: 70%
- Style: Linear
- Angle: 120º
- Scale: 120%

The following image shows 2 of the gradients used as backgrounds, and 2 others used for the text. To achieve the text effect, I used the ‘Puffy White’ style from my Text Styles 1, and changed the Gradient Overlay setting.
